【FANUC】 The method of replacing the battery of Fanuc robot

The battery on the robot body is used to store the data of each shaft encoder.

Therefore, the battery needs to be replaced every year, allowing the user to replace the battery when the battery voltage drop alarm(SRVO-065 BLAL alarm(Group: %d Axis: %d) appears. If not replaced in time, there will be an alarm(SRVO-062 BZAL alarm(Group: %d Axis: %d), at this time the robot will not be able to move, in this case, then replace the battery, but also need to do Mastering, in order to make the robot normal operation.

The specific steps are as follows:

1) Keep the robot power on and press the emergency stop button.

2) Open the lid of the battery box and take out the old battery.

3) Replace with a new battery (FANUC original battery is recommended), be careful not to install the wrong positive and negative terminals (there is a mark on the lid of the battery box).

4) Close the lid of the battery box and fasten the screws.
