On March 16, 2023, the Hubei Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held in Wuhan. At the meeting, the "Hubei Provincial People's Government's Decision on 2022 Hubei Province Science and Technology Awards" was read out, and the 2022 Hubei Province science and technology awards list was announced, including 48 natural science awards, 29 technological invention awards (11 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 4 third prizes), and 208 science and technology progress awards. There were 10 awards for the promotion of scientific and technological achievements, and 15 innovation awards for small and medium-sized technology-based enterprises.

The project "Key Technology and Application of Active Protection of Information Security of Industrial Control System" jointly carried out by Hollysys, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Comprehensive Technical and Economic Research Institute of Machinery Industry Instrumentation won the first prize of Technical invention. After years of joint research of "production, university and research", the project team took the lead in proposing the concept of system-level active protection, and made a series of innovations and breakthroughs in the safety protection theory, technology and system of intelligent manufacturing industrial control system, and achieved industrial application.

The achievement has passed the scientific and technological achievements appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation, and the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the project achievement is technically difficult, innovative, with independent intellectual property rights, and has reached the international advanced level, among which the industrial control system "information security - functional security" real-time collaborative control method is the international leader.

Hollysys will continue to improve the ability to research key technologies of industrial control system information security, deepen industry-university-research and application cooperation, and promote high-quality industrial development with "science and technology leadership".
